Beautiful Naples Destination Weddings
There are so many reasons to host your destination wedding in Naples, but the best ones are the simplest: our weather and fabulous beaches. With miles of coastline and stunning views of the ocean from everywhere in town, Naples is the perfect place to escape for a gorgeous destination wedding. Naples is also just a short 25-minute drive from a major international airport, making it easy for you and your out-of-town guests to arrive and celebrate.
With fresh seafood from the Gulf of Mexico and delicious produce year-round, it is easy to fall in love with the simple ways and bright, summery setting.
Gorgeous Marco Island Destination Weddings
Just south of Naples over the S.S. Jolley Bridge is Marco Island, another gorgeous place for Florida destination weddings. In the fall and winter months, Marco Island has a warm, sub-tropical climate that our seasonal snowbirds love. And if Naples doesn’t have enough sandy shores for you, Marco Island perfectly captures the relaxing beach life and beautiful ocean views.
Both Naples and Marco Island are more laid back than the east coast of Florida, eternally living in the casual, beautiful summer. These destinations feature great local produce in the fall and winter due to climate and the freshest fish from the gulf.

How to Plan a Florida Destination Wedding
At Tastebuds Custom Catering, we completely understand how intimidating it can be to plan a wedding somewhere so far away. That’s why we make sure to help you with every step of the process, taking out the stress of destination wedding planning and making it almost as fun as your big day.
These steps outline how easy it can be to plan a Naples destination wedding with Tastebuds Custom Catering.
1. Pick a Perfect Date
Naples is stunning in every season, but we particularly love ceremonies in October and November. If you want to avoid the heat, the weather cools off in the fall. Additionally, it’s not quite peak season, so travel costs are lower. In the winter, Southwest Florida can be an escape from the cold weather. Spring and summer bring bright flowers and the best swimming and shelling season if your guests plan to stay and enjoy this gorgeous area.
Additionally, we work with plenty of talented wedding planners, including Kelly McWilliams, whose client’s wedding is featured in the stunning photos on this page. This would be the perfect time to pick a wedding planner, if you’re interested.
2. Find a Breathtaking Venue
We understand that many of our destination wedding couples dream of getting married on a beautiful beach, and we love catering beach weddings. After eight years catering hundreds of beautiful weddings, we have worked in a wide variety of Naples and Marco Island venues. Whether you’ve dreamed of a beach wedding forever or have a stunning private estate in mind, Tastebuds Custom Catering can cater an incredible wedding.
3. Invite Everyone to Florida
Once you’ve secured a date and venue and started planning with Tastebuds Custom Catering, we recommend that you let your guests know. This gives them plenty of time to browse hotels, book flights or even plan a vacation around your special day.
4. Arrange Hotel Accommodations
Naples is home to two Ritz-Carltons—one beach resort and one golf resort. These beautiful hotels are used to accommodating wedding parties and guests, and so is the Best Western Naples Inn and Suites. This hotel is centrally located and has beautiful grounds, pools and condo-style quarters with multiple bedrooms, making it great for longer stays for wedding groups.
If you have any concerns about hotel accommodations, let your event planner know and they’ll answer any questions you have.
5. Create Your Custom Menu
At Tastebuds Custom Catering, we create each wedding’s menu from scratch, working with you to find something that will suit every guest’s palate. With fresh seafood year-round, delicious local produce and innovative flavors, we will make sure that you love your menu.
We cater a variety of wedding events, including welcome dinners and brunches, rehearsal dinners, bridal party brunches, cocktail hours and receptions. Tell us what you dream of and we’ll craft a menu filled with things you love.
6. Coordinate Rentals and Entertainment
Sometimes destination wedding couples have big dreams for their special day. We want to cater to your every idea—we can help you arrange different wedding décor and furniture rentals, florists, DJs, live entertainment, hair and makeup artists and more. Just let us know what you have in mind, and together, we’ll make sure every detail is attended to.
7. Say “I Do” in Sunny Florida
As soon as you arrive in Naples or Marco Island, your relaxing, romantic wedding celebration begins. We’ll ensure that everything is taken care of on the day of your destination wedding. With Tastebuds Custom Catering, your special day will be seamless, beautiful and stress-free.
